Vegas has Savannah St. a 70 1/2 point underdog at Florida St!!! I realize Ok. St put a major whoppin on them but IMO the Seminoles will call off the dogs....so do you take Savannah St. and the points?

yep

I am mixed on taking the points. Would FSU call off the dogs and risk being made fun of because they didn't hang 84 on them, or do they pile on and just be the big kid on the block and punish Savannah St. for their AD's scheduling?

I hate the NCAA in general, but when will they open thier eyes and end this crap.

I only hope that it dosent take a hospital full players for it to end.

The President and Ath. Director should be fired at as they are thrown out on thier butts....

doubt there will be any more injuries than any other game. usually isn't. huge misconception. SSU will get completely smashed according to the score....but it's not like weak little girls are about to get hospitalized.

that said....i like the points in this one. :D

When I was getting off work the ESPN guys were talking about this on the radio and they didn't have good things to say about it but were looking forward to it changing with the upcoming playoff(ish) system. I don't think it will make a big difference. One of the other things they talked about was the making it a requirement for schools to travel 5 times in a 12 game season. I didn't realize they could or did have so many home games.

They rehashed this on Mike and Mike this morning, doesn't look good for them but they are getting some huge payouts. Can't blame them, were they thinking they had a legitimate shot at the playoffs? This money goes a long way toward helping the school pay bills.

I heard they only got $385,000 from Okie State. Not very much for that pounding considering the Griz got $650k from Iowa and Youngstown State got $800k from Ohio State.

Mike and Mike threw out 850,000 for the two games. which I am assuming is a lot more than the gate at Savannah State for two home games. I don't know if that number is correct, but it beats the hell out of nothing. Lots of schools don't make money on sports.

Wait until odds come out for Idaho at LSU. Vandals would be more of an underdog than that if LSU wouldn't play their 2's and 3's most of the game.
