The Big Sky has no ranked-team matchups.
SUU and MSU are both ranked so there is one ranked team versus ranked team game. On that note I really think SUU is going to beat the Cats, even though they are home. SUU has obliterated teams that we have and other teams have struggled against and their defense is the best in the Big Sky. The only hiccups they've had was when they played at SDSU (which I'm chalking up to a bad game, there offense came alive after their bye week and hasn't stopped) and Cal Poly only runs the ball so as mentioned that stat is somewhat skewed. Montana State has a high powered offense but they have no defense at all whatsoever to speak of, I have to give a nod to the team that actually has a defense. As the old saying goes defense wins championships.
Technicaly, of course, you are correct ... since both teams are ranked in the coaches' poll. However, I use the rankings in the STATS poll for this thread. MSU is not ranked in the top-25 of that poll, although they are the top among "Others receiving votes."

It's November. The Cats aren't beating anyone. EWU is a holiday goose for the plucking and I think the Jacks get them this week and then we get them next week just to muddy the waters in the conference.

I like your thinking, but it's going to take more that one or two upsets to really mess things up.

Eastern hasn't lost a game in November home or road since 2009...and that was a playoff game. Eastern is bound for a big game and wins big on Saturday.

MSU is the upset pick, they probably crush SUU.

Well, I certainly didn't bet against it. :)

But the way the season has gone, I'm not sure about a big win -- unless you mean a big score for both teams.

Hot damn!

Just realized I (along with ten other voters) called it ... that is, the NoCol win over PSU.
Also, the #1 voter-getter (38 of 97) also called the NAU upset over EWU correctly.
But the #2 vote-getter, MSU over SUU did not quite work out.

Last I looked, Cal Poly was leading in its game against Sac State, 14-0.
