And I thought the $2.50 processing fee that UM charges for a ticket was ridiculous! What in the world is WSU doing charging $6.00 for orders over the phone or internet? That is horrible! Granted, I don't expect many non weebies to travel to Ogden other than UM fans. We will see by far the heaviest contingency of fans out of all other BSC schools.

I've been to 3 big sky tournaments. 2002 in bozeman, 2003 and 2007 in ogden.

both in ogden there were hardly any griz fans in attendance, mostly family of players if i were to guess.

the most fans ive seen show up is ISU because they are 2 hrs away and NAU in 2007 because many thought they had a great shot to win it all and they did (have a good shot).

i dont think um fans get up for bball even remotely like they do for football. ive seen more um fans at a home weber game in football than wsu fans. haven't seen anything like that in bball though.

if you had a big group this year that would be awesome though...especially since wsu students will have a a great time cheering against psu if thats who you happen to play in the semifinal.

oh and the $6 fee, ya it sucks, they've done that for years as far as i know.

What hotel would you suggest for someone coming down for the Tourny? Thanks in advance.

Dont Stay in a hotel in Ogden, stay in a hotel in Layton, they have better resturants there, Trust me.

Layton is not far from Ogden.

There is the Marriot Hotel on 24th street, or you can google the Layton Utah area and see if you can find a hotel to your liking

WWC. I'm sure your observation is true. There are other reasons why it seems that Griz fans are not as supportive for men's basketball as we are for our football program. We have another program that runs concurrently in which doesn't require us to take time off from work and has been more successful than any other program on campus or any program in the Big Sky for that matter. Ask Carla Taylor.
