Big Sky Title now between UM, and NAU Lillard done

Sorry to hear this. I would be devastated if this happened to any GRIZ, let alone a star player. On the bright side, Rahe is your coach.

It's official, Sucks, was looking forward to paybacks in Ogden in March.

What?

Look I know Lillard is defintely our best player, but we took Tulsa into overtime without him (or our second leading scorer Scott Bamforth) and almost came out winners, Hughey hit 3 3's in 12 seconds, lead the team with 20, Morris had 15, Fulton added 11 and Porter who was playing in only his second game this season added 9.

We have alot of depth, We will still be very tough to beat, we will still challenge for the title.

Really sucks that they lost him for the season. I was looking forward to seeing him and Cherry against each other again with both playing so great right now.

I definitely wouldn't count Weber out even without Lillard though... They (as always) have a lot of talent, and as WILDCATFAN pointed out, they still played very well without him.

Yeah, you guys aren't a one-trick-pony. You will be right there. You have a great coach.

Can Lillard get a medical red-shirt at this point? I would hope that he can, he's a great player.

I'll be surprised if a stress fracture ends his season.

The type of fracture he has requires 10-12 weeks to heal, then you have to rehab, get in game shape, etc, so yeah, he is likely done. I wish he had not gotten hurt, I think this years Griz are up to the challenge of beating WSU at full strength.

I wasn't sure what people were talking about here.

Here's the story.

Very disappointing to hear.

Lillard isn't just the Big Sky's best all around player, he could also start on almost every team in the West.

Lame.

He was in line to be a NBA draft pick too...
