Subtract all the generalities--discipline, experience, confidence, relationships, trust, consistency, tradition, process, adversity, perspective, chemistry, growth, change--and you learn nothing. DeCuire is a master of saying much while saying nothing in tones so serious you think it's profound. But meanwhile, not a single tasty nugget of gossip or insight into how these teams are doing or what player is exceeding expectations.

We did learn: Mack Anderson thinks Lonnell Martin is the most impressive new player; and Willa Albrecht has a mini-donkey.

Other than that, a total waste of time. Little wonder it's provoked no response.

Have to say I agree that there wasn't much said - perhaps they don't want to say too much. I do think that Mack is very well-spoken and composed! - the 2 players were nice to listen to, regardless.
My recent link to the goGriz article about the exhibition game has interesting (tough to get) information about the "secret" scrimmage for the WBB team. I found that surprising.
