BOTH Big Sky-Summit Challenge

This team won’t win the Big Sky if they keep playing like this
God no! Have you seen how good UNC has been playing? They’re gonna smoke us. PSU and the cats are both starting to get it going too and we’re going the wrong direction. Gonna be a long season if they don’t get their shit figured out quick.

3 games in a row, very little offensive continuity getting out rebounded.

This team is capable of so much more.
I'm so disappointed.

At this point, a shake up wouldn't hurt.

I know who I'd be shaking it up with.

I doubt, it'll happen.
Iam so frustrated right now with this team. Last year when Travis brought in 9 new players they excelled and won the championship. This year with all the new players there seems to be little chemistry or hustle. Sawyer should be embarrassed by his performance. Don’t mean to trash individual players but the whole starting 5 should be embarrassed as well. Even Mr. Basketball, Monty Williams needs an attitude adjustment. NDSU played very intelligent game, defensively they changed up their looks so our ball handlers were caught flatfoot more often then not. This was the 9th game they’ve all played together so there should be some continuity by now. I could on about offensive rebounds but why bother, it wasn’t even a challenge on the griz’s part.

This team is in a terrible funk right now;

- they play like Money has to do everything, and Money is forcing it because of that. NDSU was screaming out the "iso" plays and would go zone so Money was stuck.

- It's clear they built this roster on the reliance of Joe Pridgen and the loss of him leaves a giant hole in the post. The Griz have been bullied down low and have major issues playing physical ball. No one is matching the other teams physical play.

- Free throws, man, free throws. 21-31 against Lamar, lost by 5. 13-22 against Oakland, lost by 8. 8-13 against NDSU, lost by 9. That's 65% shooting in a 3 game stretch. That's awful.

I was thinking Joe Pridgen as well. He became the catalyst, the heart and soul of last years team. My question is who is going to step up and be this years “Joe Pridgen”?

Every year lets hype up mens basketball, get butts in the seats! Then they go and lose games like this at home and wonder why people don't show up...
It really doesn't matter who wins these out of conference games, the big sky hasn't won a game in the tournament in almost 20 years. By that logic people can reasonably make the argument that the big sky is one of the WORST conferences in the ncaa. 14-16 seed every year for the big sky until something changes. The dream of winning a tournament game, for me, is gone. I just don't see how its possible.
All that said they can still turn it around and win some games in conference, but this team just kinda sucks to watch. So sloppy. Oh well.

Actually the Big Sky is rated 14th by Torvik right now out of 31 leagues - ahead of leagues like the CAA, Big West, WAC and Summit.

Glad we got off the skid. Probably shouldn’t have been that close but honestly this team just needed to get one in the win column. Two non-D1s now before closing things out against Louisville.
