MBBALL Big Sky - Summit Challenge

Perhaps somebody will know this better than me, but was this a Quad 1 win last night? SDSU was 99 in the NET rankings on Monday. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Quad 1 is the top 75-80 teams but I know that number changes as the number of D1 teams grows. So I believe it's a very good Quad 2 win but not quite Quad 1.

It depends where the game was played (home, neutral, away) since we played at home, and SDSU was rated 99 it is a Q3 win, unfortunately.

  • Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75
  • Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135
  • Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240
  • Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353

Wow, bummer. I didn't know you were penalized that much at home. I just checked the NET rankings and St. Thomas is 103. So if the Griz can beat them at their place on Saturday, we could get a very good Q2 road win. As for our remaining opponents, Northern Iowa is 112, and San Francisco is 54. USF will be a tough game, but I like our chances against UNI and St. Thomas to pick up 2 good road Q2 games.

The good news though is we do have a Q2 win already as CSUN was 73rd when we played them last week and they are now up to 69th so that's a great win for the Griz. Couple big opportunities coming up though.

And then Idaho plays at Oregon State today
