"This decision impacts all Big Sky sports that compete in the fall both for their championship season (men’s and women’s cross country, soccer, volleyball) and for their non-championship segment (men’s and women’s golf, softball, men’s and women’s tennis). Additionally, the Presidents’ Council confirmed that non-conference contests will not be permitted in any Big Sky fall sport, including football."

[Virus stats in MT. 80 deaths as of today. When the deaths were at 70, on Aug. 7. 24 of the deaths, or 34%, were Native American. The number of NA deaths is probably higher now.

The Billings memory care home has 16 deaths. So, with Toole county elder care deaths, and a few others, the total in MT is probably at least 25.

So, adding NA deaths with elder care deaths (est.), that's 49 of the total of 80. That's 61%. There probably have been more NA deaths since then, as some have been in Big Horn county.

Yellowstone County has 31 deaths. Big Horn has 14. Toole county has 6 (all in the elder home). Flathead and Gallatin 3 each. Missoula still at 1.

"Yellowstone County continues to have the highest number of active cases with 533. Big Horn County has 255 active cases, and Flathead County reports 180 active cases."]

Edit: [This is MT's virus death demographics for age, as of Aug. 7.

Over 90 - 12 (only 5 have survived)
80-89 - 23 (61 have survived)
70-79 - 21 (176 have survived)
60-69 - 12 (362)
50-59 - 3 (417)
40-49 - 3 (400)
30-39 - 1 (588)

So, 7 deaths in MT for people under 60.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I have no doubt that'll happen in one form or another, but I dont see where anyone is talking about the lasting effects of "Surviving" with lung damage, heart damage, and brain damage. Not to mention the "Minor" issue of MIS-C for kids that can pop up after they "Survive."..... even if there's a .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 chance for a child suffering any aspect, i dont care. Its something that can be avoided, and thank you I'm done with listening to the drivel about driving, flu, drowning risks/numbers/I'm gonna just live my life cause 'Merica ....etc excuses.

Hats off to many European areas, opening back up and getting back to normal already bc they actually acted like adults and took things more seriously. And I'm anything but a DumocRAT, tks.
3 family members died in Italy and France, 2 others survived in France, neither can walk up half a flight of stairs without being out of breath and dizzy, neither are overweight, actually both very fit; they contracted it and "survived" back in late March early April... there just seems to be other considerations than simply surviving, but all that and $10 bucks wont even get a great cup of coffee... :|
Oh yeah, and they're in their mid 30's

More kids die from the flu, and those other things, than from the covid. In my view, the flu is worse for kids than covid. The European countries aren't completely open or anywhere close to normal. Plus, all of the big European countries suffered a bigger decline in GNP than did the US, including Germany. And all but Germany and France have more virus deaths per capita.

Here's the story.

Thx.

"Thursday's Frontier Conference release did state that the league will still participate in cross country meets, as well as hosting the conference championship meet, this fall. The league's golf programs are also currently planning to compete in the fall portion of their schedule, with the conference championships still scheduled for the spring."

Just another tea leaf to read, or for the blissful to ignore.
