More drives would collect some fouls from their big guys ... not a bad thing.

Still, he is in double figures at the half (11 pts). Pretty good balance on the scoring, actually: Jamar with 9 and Hutch with 8.

Apparently Wayne noticed the same thing. Of their next 9 FG attempts, only ONE was a 3-pointer, and that was the one to end the half by Cherry.

Yes but sitting near the bench Wayne was calling for a dribble drive and was obviously upset that Will didn't take it to the hole...

Biggest key in this game so far, GRIZ having limited UNC to only 5 3 point shots so far. Only 1 was wide open. GRIZ are throwing the kitchen sink at their perineter shooters and forcing UNC to rely on scoring from Osborne and role players.

Amazing. Griz came out, threw up 4 treys (making one) and one deuce (made it). At least they shut down UNC -- who took a timeout. Griz 39-28.

Not sure there is much they can do about the interior D
