Looks like these games will be part of a doubleheader with the FCS game in afternoon and FBS game in evening. For the Cats, the FBS game is Miami U. vs Utah, Attendance should be huge. Going to be a great exposure between the attendance and TV coverage.
If that’s the case, hope there’s an FBS game scheduled that weekend in 2029 as well. Allows FCS fans to see a random FBS game. And vice versa.

I'm honestly going to be very surprised if Vigen is still around at MSU next season, especially if Wyoming has another bad year.

Unless the wheels fall off this year without Tommy Mellott at QB, I think your assessment is likely to be spot on. Will Coach Hauck still be around in 2029 or will he have decided to retire by then? Seems unlikely that he'd ever choose to leave Missoula to take another head coaching job.

NFL special teams coach perhaps? Might be something he would be interested in...

In June of '70 when I graduated from UM I wasn't sure I would see another Griz game. I was somewhat comforted as the Griz were a great team in '69. I had my ticket punched for Nam as I was a recent Infantry ROTC grad and the war was still on. The typical life span of a butter bar guy in that time period was about a minute when in combat.

55 years later - I'm still around. I plan on watching the Las Vegas game on my large screen TV with an ice chest full of "Shiner" beer. Hopefully, we have another Natty by then.

Go Griz
