Big Sky & FCS Playoff Scenarios Final week

If GRIZ pull off the upset I hope they get atleast a top 6 seed. 9-2 with FBS win and upset of #3 cats is pretty damn impressive. I would not be surprised if they gave them the 8th seed though.
I also think NDSU is too high Really not impressed with their games outside the MVFC.

Or possibly the Cats vs. Davis since they have not met this year either, or Cats vs Sac State in the second round?
Go Griz!

Good point. I’m sure they’ll matchup big sky teams that haven’t played each other to the best of their abilities in the first two rounds. Makes me wonder who EWU would get in that scenario? Again, this gets confusing with two or three big sky teams having byes, etc.

EWU gets SAC, MSU gets Davis

Couple thoughts from reading the above
A) [#]f### the NCAA. They’re making money hand over fist on FBS and basketball, I’m sure they can absorb what they lose here in the FCS.
B) I’d prefer they seeded the teams all the way out. If that means we had to play the cats two weeks in a row I it would probably make for a better playoff. Beating the shit out of San Diego first round is great, but meh.
C) ESPN has been up Jackson States ass all year because of the coach. If Danders has a pair he’ll come play some real football instead of beating up on SWAC opponents.
D) the ivy needs to pull out of all championships or get on board in football.
E) [#]f### the NCAA again. Why? Because f###[#] that’s why.
F) [#]f### THE CATS

I think that says it all right there.

I don't care where they are from or if we know anything about them. Go back to seeding the teams and let the chips fall where they may.
Idealistic, not realistic. The NCAA loses a lot of money on the FCS playoffs and regionalization cuts their losses. It improves attendance and reduces travel costs. Follow the money. Have you complained when UM was awarded home playoff games (more $) that ideally should have been on the road?
Other than the Montana teams have you looked at attendance at playoff games? The numbers are terrible

Continuing with regionalization has ruined the playoffs. Play Big Sky teams in 1st or 2nd round every year ... yea
How has that ruined the playoffs? You'd rather play someone we've never heard of from S. Carolina?

Well, there aren't any fcs teams that I've never heard of, but yes. Absolutely.

And I agree 100%. Regionalization has destroyed the fcs playoffs have.

Numbers? You mean besides the parents and the venue staff? And maybe a few poor souls who thought it was revival or a rock concert (assuming the bands were there, which doesn't always happen)?

You need to run for Congress.

Libertarians are almost unelectable. Where the hell am I supposed to get a tweed jacket with elbow patches?

Prior to Saturday's games, five teams have clinched automatic bids to the FCS playoffs:
AQ7: Sam Houston (9-0)
Missouri Valley: North Dakota State (9-1)
Ohio Valley: UT Martin (9-1)
Patriot: Holy Cross (8-2)
Southland: UIW (8-2)

If Griz beat MSU, Griz likely to get 5 or 6 seed, but should get 3 or 4 seed. NDSU is ranked too high.
If cats pull off upset at Wa-Griz, likely 3 seed, but should be 2 seed.

PSU giving EWU everything they want. Up 21-14 11 left in the 3rd. If they fall it would really throw some bubble teams off
