-- Have you looked at their schedule? What a joke! The 5-0 conf is Weber, Davis, UNC, Sac & Poly... Even if the beat MSU and NAU is this 8 win team going to get in???

They might be conference champs with only one loss! So yes they'll get in. If Montana gets in we might get them in the first round.

SUU has games left @ MSU, @ PSU, NAU. They go 2-1 (beating MSU & NAU) to finish and end 8-3, 7-1 in conference. They're a slam dunk for the playoffs.
PSU has @UNC, SUU, @EWU. I think they go 3-0, finishing 10-1, 7-1 and conference champion and in the playoffs.
EWU has NAU, @UM, PSU. I think they go 1-2 (beating NAU) and finish 7-4, 6-2 in conference and in the playoffs
Montana has @ISU, EWU, @MSU. I think they go 3-0 and finish 7-4, 6-2 in conference and ahead of EWU (head to head) and in the playoffs.
NAU has @EWU, Sac, @SUU. I think they go 1-2 (beating Sac), finish at 6-5, 4-4 in conference and are sitting home.
UND has UNC & CP. I think they go 1-1 (beating UNC), finish at 6-5, 4-4 in conference and are sitting home.
MSU has SUU, @ISU & UM. I think they go 1-2 (beating ISU), finish @ 5-6 & 3-5 in conference and are having Thanksgiving dinner at home.

Easy peasy. Griz still control their own destiny.

However...If by some magic we get IN can we come close to making a game out of it? At the end of the day we must admit we are just not good enough. Sad, yes. I would love for us to have a home game but I can't get over the fact we are simply not a very good team this year. Lets hope for some magic.

Well, if we DO get in, it'll probably be in one of the play-in games, which means it WOULD be a home game....so don't give up hope yet!

Portland State held Washington State to 17 points. The same Washington State that has victories over Oregon :shock: , Oregon State and University of Arizona, putting up 45, 52, and 45 on those three schools respectively. PSU beat North Texas 66-7. That is not a typo. 66-7! Worst FBS loss to an FCS school EVER. They might be pretty good.

I refuse to judge the Griz's performance or progess based on one game against arguably the best FCS team west of the Mississippi, much like I refuse judge our performance/potential based on one game against NDSU.

We're somewhere in the middle (and assuming we haven't lost two key starters to stupidity) I think we still have a shot at this.

Lets begin to look at beating ISU. That is looming up as a tough task with or without the players that are being charged with the felony BS. Not saying guilty or not but the fact is we have backups. The game will be tough from my standpoint. We win and we keep moving along.

Sorry if the Griz and SUU win out I don't see them getting in ahead of SUU, the T-Birds have obliterated teams we have either lost to or almost lost to. Maybe its time to stop underestimating teams that don't have "Montana" in their name.

I hate the fact that EWU still has to play in Missoula next week...

The Griz still have a shot, you should beat ISU this weekend as they are not very good. After that you have two rivalry games, the first one at home. Tough task, but the Griz are in for sure if you win out.

I moved them from Probably in to on the brink... The NAU blowout leaves EWU needing a win to get in the playoffs... I know it sounds unbievable, but I cant see EWU getting in at 6-5 with 3 straight loses and a near lose to Weber in their last four games...

Really helped themselves by blasting EWU... Still Need to win last 2 to get in.

The ISU win was UGLY!, but can still get in with two more wins.

In a perfect (Griz) world the Griz would win and MSU, PSU and EWU would all win.

The Griz fans are in a weird position this weekend... rooting for the felines from the east PSU, & EWU

An MSU win over S. Utah helps the Griz. (Griz playoff chances are helped if S. Utah loses 2 of last 3)
EWU beating NAU also helps the Griz playoff hopes
PSU beating N. Colorado ends UNC fleeting chance.

I think a six win Big Sky team is going to have a very small chance of getting in. I think the FCS selection committee will look at 6 win Missouri Valley teams before BSC teams. The perception seems to be that Missouri Valley is a tougher conference so 6 wins there will mean more than 6 wins here.

I think the Griz beat ISU & MSU, and need to beat either PSU or EWU to be a lock for the playoffs.

Pretty much dead on......a loss this weekend and we really have our backs to the wall.

EWU, PSU & SUU, just punched their tickets. Congrats.
