Getting down to the final 3 weeks of the regular season which means playoffs for us. This week is the quarterfinals with #1 and #2 getting a bye. #3 will play #6 and #4 vs #5 with winners advancing to the semis and losers playing for 5th/6th next week. Then of course #7 and #8 battle it out in the Toilet Bowl.

#3 AZGrizFan vs #6 Elord Grizzly
AZGriz won a close matchup in week 3 109.5 to 105 but Elrod's team has surged lately, culminating in a 138.5 to 129.0 victory over AZ last week, resulting in a jump from 8th to 6th and a seat at the playoff table. Now their rubber match will decide who advances to the semis. AZ boasts the leagues top scorer in 7th round draft pick Justin Lamson. ISU's Dason Brooks, Taco Dowler, and the Griz's Def and ST's units have also been critical components to his team. Losing WSU's Chauncy Sylvester for the season hurts though. For Elrod, Idaho's Elisha Cummings, NAU's Kolby Katsis, and ISU's Michael Shulikov have all been pivotal players while his QB, Ty Pennington has had steady production.

Grizband and T also split their regular season matches but by a large margin in Grizbands favor with a combined score of 176.0 to 112.5. In their matchup 2 weeks ago Grizband won 128.5 to 51.0 so he's definitely the favorite going in. Grizband's Ah Yat/Wortham duo has been potent for him. Unfortunately Grizband lost a WSU RB fir the season in Davion Godley which may not hurt him this week, but probably in semis and definitely in the chipper. T's Carver Cheeks and Nate Bell have been a revelation. Unfortunately Bell probably wont play this week though but T will be able to use the unique retro sub rule Ive implemented due to almost a complete lack of any injury reports.

Boscoe was the leagues hard luck team of the year, losing three of his matches by a combined 6 points, including one where his TE's wide open TD drop not only would have won the match for Boscoe, but his own team also.
