Sorry about the thread title but I thought it would be a good attention grabber. I’m not talking about a move up. I’m talking about a Big Sky Conference fantasy football league. I brought it up a couple years ago and received very little interest(talkin about you Everett
). I also had a lot of unanswered questions on how to form a BSC only league. Now I’m fully prepared to get this thing going for those who are interested. I have currently updated rosters that will need to be updated again in July. I have a BSC team schedule for next year(minus a couple dates to be filled in still). I have a template for a 10 team, 10 weak regular season schedule plus a three week playoff that byes do not affect. I have a roster template and a point system all laid out. I will be ranking each player to the best of my knowledge(limited but improving). I have all the stats from ‘23 and ‘24 to rank returning players and will have to use an educated guess for any incoming players based off usual team production, the usual production from their position, and what their expectations are as a player. I have a plan for a “live” untimed draft through GroupMe or WhatsApp. All I need now is interested, hopefully dedicated team managers. I’m hoping if there’s enough interest that some other people might want to run their own leagues. I’m willing to provide most of the leg work for league managers. All they will be responsible for is conducting their draft, keeping track of team managers roster updates, and tallying points for team managers. If Managers agree, leagues may simplify their own point system if they wish to make it a little easier on the league manager. I also want to include the option, if team managers agree, to make the league a keeper league where you keep the player on your team until they graduate or transfer out of the con. Obviously you won’t HAVE to keep all players but you’ll have that choice, which will be a unique aspect to college fantasy sports. I plan on reaching out to other fan bases through their fan forums and other social media outlets. All I need to know now is who’s wants in?
