The Red Bird is still there? I had a great steak there many years ago and was surprisingly impressed by the experience. That is until, a drunk tried to roll me in the alley.

They promise an unforgettable evening. Sounds like you had one.

I remember the place as being dimly lit, with brick walls, and dinner theater-style seating. Excellent food and wine list too. Really great. The only weird part was the entrance. It's in an alley, right? My wife and I left the restaurant pretty late and right there in the alley was a pretty good sized drunk Indian. Not the kind from Bangalore, either. He got right in my face and asked for a smoke. I knew that's not what he was after, and he knew he wasn't getting anything good. He walked away. I prefer peace and harmony whenever possible. Want to hear about my experience at the Rhino after an Eagle win? That one doesn't end as well.

Portland State looked really good this weekend! I know it was against a terrible defense, but man they are quick! Want the Griz, but work to do.

Eastern should cruise to 6-0 before heading to Missoula but I still think the conference is up for grabs...

And likely be 7-0 after Montana.

Especially since we are counting Weber State as a likely win. Portland State is the team to beat this year.

North Dakota will win the very competitive Big Sky since they play some defense and have a favorable schedule the rest of the way.

I would have agreed with you 2 weeks ago. Unfortuantely the last 2 weeks with 4 starters not playing on defense and 2 on offense we have fell apart in the 4 qtr both weeks. Both safeties have been out and the pass defense is getting torched. I expect the same from the Griz.

At any rate I plan a trip to watch this game. Maybe someone can give advise on restaurants to enjoy and is they a place to park near the stadium or best way to get to the game. I'm staying at the Hampton so can't walk.
Go to Reds bar and ride the bus to the game and drink beer at their tailgate at halftime

Eastern has won three straight titles, and is something like 25–2 in the last three + seasons in conference. Eastern is the team to beat still…

I think Portland goes down to poly this weekend...

SUU @ PSU on 11/14 is potentially a huge game, as is PSU @ EWU on 11/21 to close out the season, especially if PSU defeats SUU.

Of course, there's a ton of football still to be played up until that point.

We know @ least one of those teams can play a lick of defense.
what is this "defense" you speak of...?

Imagine what a kick-ass team we'd have if we could meld MSU's offense with UM's defense....

Actually only need about 5 Cats (won't mention who to protect the Griz players who are doing their best, just it isn't enough) on UM offense and the Big Sky would be theirs

34-3 in the BSC after an 0-2 start in 2011. Those losses are: @ NAU (2014), @ SUU (2012), vs. PSU (2011).

Poly and PSU should be a great game. I give PSU an advantage due to what I believe is a better defense.

Yeah, I didn't want to specify either, but I'm sure it ain't rocket science to figure out who....
