Big Sky App-Apple TV?

Anyone know why you can't stream the Big Sky App with Apple TV? It drives me nuts. Some sports apps won't let you stream, like ESPN3, but that app is available on my Apple TV so I can still watch it on my t.v.

Is there any other way to watch through Apple T.V.? We'll be out of town at a hotel, and for my other teams I had no problem plugging the Apple TV into hotel room.
 
I read a news release from a week or two ago saying the Big Sky selected a new provider for the streaming and App, EverSport.tv. As part of the deal they're updating app but mine is still updated from January 2014.
 
I would have sworn that I streamed a game off my phone or iPad through the Apple TV link last season. New provider this year, perhaps they will accommodate?
 
If you have a Mac or an iOS device you should be able to stream it over Apple TV using AirPlay

Through the web browser? It definitely didn't work last year through the app.
 
In theory the app can be updated on the back end with the new streaming provider without the actual app being updated on devices / app stores

It would be nice if they did update the app, as it looks like a 5 year old designed it. But I guess if it works then so be it. :)

No, just an iphone and ipad.

I just downloaded and tried to AirPlay video from the app with no luck. Must be a bug in the app. The AirPlay symbol shows up in the app video but when you try to send it to an apple tv it doesn't work. Using the browser it worked though. Just turn AirPlay on in the control center first.

That was my issue in the past, too. Awesome it works in browser!
 
Looking at the upcoming schedule, not all big sky games will be streamed. Thought by the article that all games would be streamed.
 
The Watch Big Sky App (android) doesn't seem to show there is a current live event. Website works/looks decent. Easier to remember link http://watchbigsky.com links back to http://eversport.tv/big-sky
 
Volleyball wasn't showing up in app but the streaming to AppleTV worked from my safari browser on my IPad!! Great news for this weekend.
