and when i say for gigs i do not mean that they dont belong in the poll, I just mean I know absolutely nothing about them.
well if that's the case then maybe you shouldn't be conducting a poll. it's tough to differentiate between bauman, kirk and williams. so your guy is one of the three best running backs in the league. how's that?

Pretty even, statistically, so far.

1. Zach Bauman-NAU JR 6 118 767 6.5 8 75 127.8
2. Deonte Williams-CP SR 6 107 757 7.1 9 74 126.2

As it turns out, Deonte Williams from Cal Poly ended up being the best back in the league.

1. Deonte Williams-CP SR 11 218 1458 6.7 12 76 132.5
2. Zach Bauman-NAU JR 11 225 1182 5.3 8 75 107.5

Cody Kirk lead all RB's in TD's with 14 in only 9 games.

Kirk in Bozeman is the best, Bauman is a close second.
That would surprise the Griz. Kirk had 100 yards in 33 carries (3.0 ave) and 0 TDs against the Griz the last two years combined; Bauman had 401 yards in 54 carries (7.4 ave) and 4 TDs. Now that is close.... Bauman will play on Sunday, while Kirk will be trying to decide what to do with a BS Math degree.

First 7 games of the year...Bauman was the best.

Last 4 games of the year... Williams was the best.

Bauman and NAU's OL scuffled hard the final month. NAU was down a lineman or two and had players out of position. Bauman got injured and lacked that second gear and lateral movement he had to start the year. Deonte Williams and Cal Poly's option impressed me last Saturday.
