1985 Class A Title game held at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
Park High 99 Butte Central 97 (2OT) That's a lot of scoring without the 3-point shot.

The Maroons could not stop Shann Ferch. The Rangers could not stop Tom Kenney.

It was a tough loss for this former Maroon.

The father of a current Griz football player was one of the referees in that game. Anyone care to guess?

Colt Anderson?

Probably around 76', that would put me in 4th grade. Mick Durham played for the Three Forks Wolves and they were on a great run. The whole town was behind them and my parents took us to every home and away game. Can't remember who they played, but the opposing team had the ball out of bounds, threw it in, Mick stole it for 2, threw it in, Mick stole it for 2, threw it in, Mick stole if for 2. I remember hearing that story for years. I think he got a quick 10pts. The opposing team was so frustrated, they were practically handing him the ball.
