Best ISP in Missoula area?

Once again Speculum internet had a perfectly timed "area wide outage" thirty minutes prior to kickoff and ending with only two minutes left in the first quarter. This is one of many outages in the last year and I think I have enough of Speculum.
What is everyone else's experience with ISP's in Missoula and surrounding area?

I've been on Spectrum for several years now, am fed up, but unsure of my direction. Definitely cutting the cord.

There’s Eagle Sattelite - that is basically dish, but I haven’t heard good things about it. There’s Century Link which “looks” cheaper, but after having to rent or buy outright their cable modem, you’re paying roughly the same price for worse customer service and connection stability.

I currently have charter / spectrum and live near the south end of town and have only experienced a few outages.

Blackfoot communications maybe an option but I dunno much about them.

None of the providers are awesome - really you’re just picking the lesser among the evils.

I did “register” for TDS, but they’re not operating yet in Missoula as far as I know.

Dumped spectrum (had to keep the internet portion though) and went to Hulu, saved about 100 buck a month.

Anybody have experience with 5G internet? Probably not available in most areas.

Where it is available it's a solid choice. Easy to setup too.

I'm not in the Missoula area, but have been using the T-Mobile 5G connection for the last few months. So far, so good, and only $50/mo.

Used to work for a lot of these ISP's, Their all alike.... No one is any better than the other. Sure, they'll tell you you'll get all these channels & sports packages, But what they don't tell you is usually their in contract negotiations with major Networks...! Above all, Stay away from TDS... Horrible,Horrible Cable outfit, I only worked for them as a contractor, and man was it lousy!!!! Got outta there in a hurry. What I do now is Play the Satellite game, Go with one till the contract is up then switch to other . Been doing it that way for 18yrs.....! Good luck..

I have had Spectrum for 4 years now and never have had a internet outage aside from scheduled ones that they sent a email on with 24 or more hours notice. Then again people love to dig in the dirt on Saturdays so ya never know when some will cut a cable.
