Yeah....They are to busy membering things...

The "broken arm" catch was Ferriter not Bagley. Had a bird's eye view of that one and still cringe when I picture it in my mind.

Watching some old highlights got me thinking of a list. Top 3 catches of all time for the Griz.

#1 Mariani v Richmond in the 2008 natty.

#2 Sambrano v App St in the 2009 semis.

#3 Roberts v NDSU in 2015 week 1A.

I have pics but can’t figure out how to post em.
Fun topic and all your choices are great. I would have stuck Farris catch vs. Ap St in playoffs vs. Roberts catch, just because of it being a game winner in OT. The Farris catch vs. Idaho was also amazing because he was being totally interfered with but somehow stuck an arm out to catch the ball in endzone, plus it was fun to watch Tom Cable whine. Honorable mention goes to the Parker pick because it was such a shock to the crowd. It just got louder and louder as DP approached north endzone. All of above sent the crowd into euphoria-all great memories. The only one I didnt see live was the Mariani catch but I assume it got the crowd fired up.

It was the only thing that got the crowd going all game. Not a whole lot to cheer about that day.

Don't know if it was the "best" catch, but the place absolutely exploded when Sambrano made his against App State. Considering the context, one of more important catches I've seen in person.

Sambrano's catch in the snow was a classic. Great coverage too.

Bagley's diving 4th down catch was astonishing and had the most impact of any play on that individual season IMO.

Ferriter had several season changing catches but the broken arm still haunts my dreams.

Marriani was simply the best.

This. Caught the back half of the ball while doing his best Superman imitation.

yeah...i remember watching that one in Chattanooga...the crowd wasn't super peppy after going down 7-24. i thought ESPN put that one in their Top-10 list as a consolation prize, but it was a hell of a catch.

Actually, both had broken-arm catches - and both were/are cringe-worthy. Bagley's was at Idaho State.

This thread gets me very fired up to see Griz football again!
