DP caught an option pitch vs Sac st. they had Ricky Ray and Charles Roberts

Yeah, Griz down like 21-0 at the half, Miller had a migraine & played terrible in the first half. DP intercepted Ray's pitch & took it to the house, to tie the game, I believe. One of the most exciting plays I have ever seen at Wa-Griz.

mine as well....pin point throw by selle and caught in the corner of the endzone with a defender draped
his back in the snow and oh, it was 17 17 in the 4th with 1:37 and then trumaine with the diving bat down save at the goal line for the win.

Trumaine didn't actually bat the ball down - he was on Quick pretty good and probably how close he was caused Quick to drop the ball, but he was beat. Quick had the ball go through his hands and bounce off his face mask.

From a wow factor and pure skill Mariani's catch against Richmond is my No. 1. Of course, I'm also biased.

From an importance standpoint, I'd say Jimmy Farris and Jabin's catches against Appy are tops.

Honorable mention: I remember mariani had a spectacular one-handed TD in the NEZ during some garbage time as a sophomore, I believe. I can’t recall the opponent but I remember thinking, “holy shit, that kid’s gonna be good.”

Dave Dickenson to Mike Ernhardt in Huntington WV vs Marshall. Third and 18 Ernhardt got 22. Set up the FG that won the first National Title. We had to play the Herd on their home field. It's hard enough to win the title on a neutral field we did it on their home field. I'll never forget driving out of Huntington and listening to the radio broadcast team talking about how a bunch of Hillbillies beat their beloved Herd. There was 9 future NFL players on the field that day.

I remember that as well. Definitely his Sophomore year. I think it may have been aganist weber. And I also remember thinking why doesn't he play more? I know a picture of it exists but I can't find it. Oh well.
