Bergen’s returned punt

Just rewatched Bergen’s punt return and two things stand out:

Michael Matthews absolutely destroyed #41 on a block. Guy probably feeling it today.

Bergen slowed as he approached the end zone to pick up the final block that let him walk in. Very smart (and great blocking downfield too by Tyler Flink)

Yes, that was genius….he literally coasted into the end zone, allowing Flink to get that final SEMO douche out of the way.

Loved see #41 get lit up, he was a cheap shot, late hitting douche so a little payback was nice!!

Bergen and Flink did awesome...Flink lit up one of the back protectors on the punt then got up and escorted Bergen Was a little surprised Bergen didn't get a flag for flipping the ball almost into the stands...not sure why our returners think that is ok??

That followed the Malik return, not Bergen’s.

And yes, the block on 41 was exactly how it’s drawn up. Beauty.

didn't remember seeing one on him. I know flowers got one for his flick into the stands but I thought Bergen got away with his...maybe not but either way BH needs to get control of that stuff.
