Bengals

Bradshaw playing inspired, intelligent basketball tonight. Awesome. This could be huge for the Griz down the road if Bradshaw can relax and let er rip.

At, 2:00, if this holds up, good chance to get Nwosu, De Jong and Boehning at least a little time on the floor.
 
He got fouled, but Bradshaw did a nice drive to the basket, very good movement; and got two points off the FTs.
 
Well, it's hard to find fault with the Griz in that game. Granted, ISU is not a powerhouse, but Bill Evans is a first class coach, and they did smoke the Cats. But the Griz did some exceptional shooting, just memorable, and some slumps by key players got turned around. Indeed, they showed that Breunig is a key, yet the Griz can score around him very well, with five -- FIVE -- career highs by Griz players, and Breunig wasn't one of them.

Krslovic. His ability to "keep the ball alive" is extraordinary, much more important than the seven points he scored. That guy has some hands, he's been on the floor scrambling for the ball more than the rest of the team put together.

Griz defense, superb. ISU's Hansen, 17 points average; got eight in this game.

And this was a road game!
 
I think Thursday that many of us were wondering if the Griz could win if Bruenig had an off night, or even an average, game.

Now we see that lots of other guys, not just Gregory, can step up. That's good to know.
 
Good signs in finding other guys stepping up their games. Now a matter of them finding consistency. Road splits sure help a team contend for the title. No matter where a weekend road trip is, a split is always a goal and considered great. Good job GRIZ!!!!
