Easy. An army of beer guys and gals roaming the stands with vendor belts and 36 16oz metal bottles yelling "cold beer, bottle of beer here" Get a 50-50 ticket and a dollar goes into that pot.

Weirdly, I thought I posted here before but it's not showing up. Regardless, my argument was, why would the U sell beer at Football games. The only reason my graduate Alma matter (Kent State University) did it was to get more people to the games. UM sells out most every game. There is no point.

Edit: With that written, I voted for beer!

You are an idiot. Beer would be sold to increase revenues for the athletic department. Do you think professional teams like the Broncos or Seahawks sell beer to attract more fans to games?

Oh I must be an idiot. Please guide me on one thing. How would UM make money on beer when its cheaper or free at the tailgates?

My wife reads egriz. Only one t in alma mater.

She wants beer too.
Thanks for the correction. I'll make sure to put it in my phone. Alma is capitalized.

People could drink beer during the game in the stadium, without having to sneak anything into the stadium.

Many people don't go to the tailgates--because they don't know any people at tailgates, don't want to miss parts of the game, and don't want to walk out and back in the stadium.

Many people apparently have more money than you, because they don't much care what the price of a beer is if he's very convenient to get.

The stadium club and its decks are full of people drinking beers and drinks all game long, and don't care about the cost.

Why do you think people buy beer in the stadium and the Adams Center during concerts, instead of going outside to their car where it would be cheaper.

Obviously, you don't go to many games. I stand by my comment on you.

You are displaying the symptoms. How available is tailgate beer at the quarter breaks? There is plenty of precedence to show that when stadium beer sales are allowed they generate a lot of revenue. When there are alternatives, many would prefer to not have to make the mad rush at halftime, relax with a beer inside and watch the whole game.

Great K and PR. Thanks. A couple more things things, which Missoula business is going to give up their beer license for the stadium given that Missoula is maxed out currently? And, which concession will the beer be sold out of? Pizza Hut? If so, won't the other concessions be mad? They can't all share a license.

Edit:

Link for PR so his paralegal doesn't have to work off of the clock.

The university has the proper license to sell beer. It is sold up in the Canyon Club at games, at the UM tailgate outside, and at the stadium club in the Adams Center at basketball games. Also, at concerts in the Adams Center. Also, in the stadium for concerts. Don't know who runs that. UM Catering has a catering license to sell alcohol.

To buy beer in the stadium you have to get 1) box (wouldn't ever sit in one so that's out) 2) be rich enough to afford the sky club (knew I shouldn't have been a teacher, money).
Let the unwashed masses buy beer in the stadium.

Revenue from beer just might go a long way to cover "cost of attendance" for all the student athletes. It might be easier to get there one beer at a time than by straight donations.
