Hmmm....so if you have a box seat you can have beer right? But not if you buy a regular ticket? I wonder if there’s some sort of equal protection/economic discrimination argument to be made?

Good call. Why should people get things I don't just because they have the money to buy them? I should get those things too. What's up with these country clubs saying you have to buy a membership to play golf? I like golf too.

While I will agree that fans have contributed to a lot of wins over the years (see last weekend) have we ever taken the blame for a 3rd quarter collapse? Seems to me that PlayerRep has put up stats in the past that show we do pretty well in the 3rd quarter. Is the lack of fans a real problem for the team or is it something made up; like the Loch Ness Monster and women's orgasms?
Good question. Rocky offers it at their games. Makes me think the decision maker wouldnt be the guy at the very top of the food chain.Dutch Lane said:Who makes the call on these things, the regents or the Ad or university president? Seems like if it’s a university decision then a petition circulated at games would be a good place to start to undo this anti-Kavanaugh rule of no beer for the cheap seats. I really like beer with my football and I would posit that so does the majority of griz nation. So let’s get us some beer at griz games. Who’s with many, anyone, anyone? :thumb:

Oh come on now! I’m not suggesting the University BUY the beer for everyone. Hell I’d even pay more to be able to have beer in my seats, I just like being in the NEZ. I’m just wondering if there’s an argument to be made to bring beer to the people!
I like the way you think. :thumb: It’s a total money maker that needs to be tapped into, pun intended. Rocky being private I would assume they set their own rules whereas the griz might have to get permission from the board of regents or maybe even the damn legislature, I’m not sure yet but am trying to research it.Igotgoodsources said:Good question. .92 cents to but the bottle of beer sold at $5.00 amongst 25,000 would generate a ridiculous revenue number.
If there's one thing the media has taught me in the last decade, it's that economic disparity = racism and gender bias. I think we have a case! It's all a plot to prevent minorities from having beer, because they can't afford the nice seats! :lol:CDAGRIZ said:GrizGeneral said:CDAGRIZ said:GrizGeneral said:Hmmm....so if you have a box seat you can have beer right? There might an argument, but equal protection/economic discrimination ain't it. :thumb:

Cheap brew at premium prices, and they'd still sell a lot.grizghost said:hmmm...what kind of beer would they sell?... local beer only?..would the beer company's get to
advertise their beer in the stadium..?
I vote LOCAL beer ONLY! HELL, even the GSA tent has gotten out of hand. At the last game I attended, the GSA only had one LOCAL BEER! What’s this world coming to?IdaGriz01 said:Cheap brew at premium prices, and they'd still sell a lot.grizghost said:hmmm...what kind of beer would they sell?... local beer only?..would the beer company's get to

With Everett & crew in the venue, you’ve clearly undershot your estimate.
There will be expense considerations post wholesale purchase. But it’s likely there’s a profit to be made after serving the beer & cleaning up the place, (imagine the mess around EVG’s seats).
Serious question - would the spilled beer smell have dissipated by the time the next home game occurred? Asking for a friend @ Schick Shau...
