Bedell and Tyler Lucas

I think we should replace Naccarato (sp) with one of our taller receivers. The guy is just too small and seems to get swallowed up by the secondary on routes. I would much rather have Roberts, or one of the other taller receivers running in the slot.

Roberts is the more talented guy....but Stitt likes the smaller, shiftier guys at that position. They're the one's he uses in the fly sweep action. Daum is going to be special at that position....I thought Naccarato looked alright, I know he had one good screen play.

Back to the original topic, I'd like to see Bedell, or anyone for that matter, come in and spell Holmes every once in a while.

Naccarato had a TD on one of the 4th down plays but Brady floated the pass and it fell harmlessly to the ground.

I agree Nacaratto is one of the speedy, shifty guys that Stitt likes there. He is great for fly sweep stuff, motion plays, quick pass, etc. I think he will do just fine. It's been one game and maybe he scores 2 TDs this weekend for all we know.

Naccarato is clearly the no. 1 guy in that inside receiver position.
It's not clear to me. He has done nothing to impress. We have a lot of options there; we'll see how it plays out after some more games.

To be fair the kid hasn't had that much playing time. Then in this game Gus had a tendency to sometimes overthrow all the shorter guys not just Naccarato.

I agree, we need to give the entire offense a chance to gel before drawing too many conclusions. :ugeek:

Like they said, he torched his defender on that 4th down... just needed a better pass

It is a matter of time for Bedell to learn the schemes, playbook, and teammates. As for Lucas, he is part of a huge numbers game at WR. From the little I saw and have heard, his hands have not been consistent enough to justify more time. I would love to see him emerge though.
