I am hearing that San Jose State has found their guy. It will be interesting to see if Eastern Washington head coach Beau Baldwin is the choice. Oakland Raiders quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo and University of San Diego head coach Ron Caragher interviewed for the job.

Good for him to be considered but it looks like SJSU is going in another direction:
SAN JOSE -- San Jose State will announce Monday afternoon that it has hired Ron Caragher as its new head coach, according to a source close to the situation.

Caragher, who has spent the past six years as head coach at the University of San Diego, replaces Mike MacIntyre, who left for Colorado a week ago.

The 45-year-old Caragher is a Morgan Hill native who went to San Jose's Bellarmine College Prep. He was 44-22 in six years with the Toreros, where he took over for Jim Harbaugh when the 49ers coach left to take the job at Stanford.

sorry to hear that.....would have been a nice step up for BB. He is a quality guy, EWU will be sorry to lose him at some point. He has done wonders over there at Cheney.
