Carmike Cinemas will broadcast the Bowl Championship Series National Championship game live in 3D Thursday at the Wynnsong 10 Theater in Billings.

The game, featuring the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners from Miami, kicks off at 6 p.m.

"It'll be just like watching it in a bar, but you will feel like you are at home," said Larry Collins, vice president of Carmike's film department. "This is the future of major sporting events on television."

Admission is $20 and tickets will be available at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Wynnsong 10, located at 2456 Central Ave., or online at www.fandango.com.

A little expensive but might be interesting to watch in 3D.

$20 is a little steep for something like this when you can watch it for free at home.

And it is the first time they are doing anything 3D so not even sure what the quality is.

I honestly think it might be 3D in home. You have to go get those glasses. I saw the advertisement on TV but it might've been for the Super Bowl. Not exactly sure.
