Hawaii can play with anyone in the country and not only do they deserve to be in the BCS they deserve to be in the National Championship game.

Save all your, but they are in the WAC BS they beat everyone they had on their schedule and they went 12-0.

Brennan should win the Heisman even though he missed 3 games, he still has better numbers than any other QB in the 1A/FBS.

Locker is a stud. He just needs some receivers to throw to, his suck.

Herbstreit can suck it on his anti-Hawaii agenda, they would give his OSU all they want.

I think Brennan is pretty amazing, but Hawaii is more to blame than anyone that they won't get a shot. They played that weak schedule. Funny how you know so much about schedule strength when it comes to the Griz, but you seem to leave that part of the equation out now. I guess your man crush on Colt has you seeing things differently eh Alpha. :thumb:

ALPHA has a thing for guys named Colt.

True, but my favorite "Colt" is Samuel Colt.

It angers me that the pollsters put Ohio State so high. Everybody complained about the Griz's non conference schedule.

Ohio St's non conference was a joke. Who'd they play?

They lose at home to Illinois. They barely beat MichSt at home.

The Big Ten is still soft. (Sorry GirlHawk always a hawk.) A majority of the teams were way down in the conference leading to relatively easy contest for Ohio State that didn't dominate. I wonder who that sounds like...

Look at last year's bowl record, ie USC vs. Michigan, Florida wiping them out.

They will not play a title for at least 7 weeks of layoff. They don't have the team speed of a USC, LSU, or an Oklahoma. Why are they 3rd last week???

Ohio State = Overrated. The BCS is so flawed to put a team like that in its championship game. I hate the system. At least when the season is over in FCS, the players decide on the field who is the champ. There has to be others that feel this way.

I agree. If Ohio State gets in it has more to do with money than anything they did on the field. Ohio State has an enormous fan base, they travel as well as anyone, and they are well connected with the decision makers. I was hoping they would end up in the Rose Bowl so USC could kick the bejesus out of them.

I've seen both play (albeit on TV) this year multiple times, and USC would definitely handle Ohio State. Especially the way USC is playing now that its more healthy. Plus, Give Pete Carroll that much time to prepare.

If OSU plays LSU they'll be wipped. LSU has a high octane offense. They are now healthier as well. Look at the OSU loss to Illinois. A spread offense more focused on speed. They get defeated at home.

I'm not excited about the prospects here. FBS could do way better don't you agree? Wow, the money they are really losing by not having a playoff. Think of all the dollars those OSU boosters would be paying each week if they had to compete in a 1st round, quarterfinal round, semis. The BCS stays together because of the dollars, but I think they are missing a WINDFALL.

Well, it turned out the way I thought it would.

I'm left wanting a playoff system, wondering "what if" for this year and how it would turn out. I would bet dollars that LSU would not win a playoff system this year. It would be exciting, you think? Even Herbstreit and Corso said during pregame that there was an aura of these teams were not totally convincing everybody as being 1 vs. 2.

I'm thinking of all of the dollars not generated by a playoff system that would be bigger than March Madness and the Super Bowl game combined. The BCS conferences and bowls claim of all the money they would lose by not having the bowls, but just think what Ohio State fans would pay each week during a playoff run if they weren't off for 50+ days...

How many more years of controversy? It drums up attention for the BCS, but that is about all it does. Thank god the FCS is what it is. Let the players determine their fate; not a computer or a sleezy biased media guy behind a desk. If they have to decide something, let it be the #17th team " not getting in" vs. an undefeated #3 having a legitimate gripe.

See you next year FBS. Looking forward to the Griz and FCS in 08 even more!
