BCS Debacle

They're saying that it will be Ohio State versus LSU.

Kansas, Georgia, and Virginia Tech will be pissed because they were ahead of LSU this week in the polls. VT beat #11 BC in their title game, and Kansas & GA were off.

USC was right behind LSU in the poll and they won this week too!

I do have to argue against Georgia because they didn't even get to their conference title game.

Another interesting item is that a conference cannot send 3 teams to BCS games, so Florida is outside looking in from the SEC this year and Oklahoma winning gives them the bid - so who is it- Missouri or Kansas going to a BCS bowl. Wild


Instead of a "NORMAL" year when usually only ONE team gets the shaft, the difference of this year is that MULTIPLE teams will get the shaft.

I don't believe that they deserve a shoein vote. I think all of the other teams have just as good of a gripe. I mean really, why Ohio State?

That has happened way to many years with this terrible system.

It's also sad that after all the games are over with, its up to a computer, pollsters, media to tell us who is in the championship.

At this very moment, nobody knows for sure who'll play in the game and all the games are done. That sucks.

What will it take to overturn the commissioners/BCS people that a playoff of some sort is the only way to determine a true champion?

Let the kids decide it on the field themselves-not a computer or some smuck behind a desk.

We'll have this argument year and year after year....

I think Brennan is pretty amazing, but Hawaii is more to blame than anyone that they won't get a shot. They played that weak schedule.
