Just got to the game.
1st team to 80, wins this one.
Hoping our defense does well and we get offensive continuity.

8 4 GRIZ 15:24 left in the 1st half.
Isaak with 2 3s. Sawyer with 2. Defense and rebounding looking solid so far.

Like NAU, they're hedging defenders to Money.

It won't show in the stats, but the focus on Money really creates opportunities for teammates. GRIZ could use a couple back door or back side perimeter shots to losen defense on Money.

GRIZ defense was terrific in the 1st half.
IF this defensive focus remains all through conference play, they'll be conference title contenders again.

Defense is superb. That has always been DeCuire's forte.
Money scoreless, I believe. That bodes well.
But one thing that has baffled me about DeCuire's offense: Very few baseline cuts. When the defense doesn't have to defend the baseline, they can concentrate more on the three-point line. Our guys just stand in the corner. Wouldn't a simple interchange along the baseline force the defense to react more?
Our defense is crisp and active. I wish I could see similar movement off the ball on offense.
But to hold a team averagign 80 points to this few in one half? That is great.

I agree.
Teams are so focused on Money, back doors and back side skip passes are there for the taking.
