Baldwin to Cal? Official as OC

Can anyone give us an Idea of which recruits both teams were after???

Here is one verbal that we had offered.

OL- Wyatt Musser 6'6" 280 (Kennewick HS) Kennewick, WA (2-Star) (EWU)

Dang solid coach. This was the better move IMO for the FBS rout. If Cal has ridiculous numbers the next few years, he's in line at Arizona State or somewhere like that (when Graham finishes crapping himself). Great idea for him and great hire. Sad for EWOOO...great for an excellent coach and great for the Griz.

My understanding, and Kyle may be able to verify, is that UM cooled on Musser awhile back.

Wow.

Huge loss for EWU.

Not really.
His 'success' was exaggerated by the endless string of quality QB's who just happened to enroll there.
No doubt the next guy will sit back and let success fall into his lap as well. :ugeek:

And someone tweeted at a Marc Anderson that the eastern football program is in good hands with him at the helm. A quick search shows that he is the current director of football operations at Eastern.
Anderson might be a good coach, but doubt he is a Baldwin. BB's the best I've seen at this level; hard to replace.

Agreed. I don't think EWU will slip into the depths of hell over this, but, when you consider Beau, their OC, and Kupp, Bourne and Hill all now gone,, and their 2017 schedule being pretty brutal, I think next season might be a bumpy one.

It's official, Beau Baldwin has informed the EWU football team that he's leaving to take the Cal offensive coordinator job.

Nah. That only happens to the Griz.

Per the 10-minute streamed presser they are going with interim co-head coaches until a replacement can be found.
