I remember watching him on TV playing for the Dolphins his second season I think and the annoucers mentioned the same thing.

A corner blitz is usually on the QB, not the RB to pick up. QB has to pick up the hot read where the corner vacated. That said, it could have been Lex's fault...only the coaches and players know. Lex did have a dropped pass on the first drive which was tough to see. He had some good plays as well though, blocks, and a 8 yd reception. Jets are a mess overall with the Sanchez-Tebow thing and no good Receivers.
