at the time krysko went to australia on a recruiting trip at the behest of his friend, luc longley, andrew bogut was emerging as a #1 draft pick at utah. since then, another aussie, 7'1" luke nevill has delveoped into an all-mwc center for the utes, while 6'11" andrew ogilvy has had a big impact at vandy, patrick mills is averaging 16.5 points per game and drawing raves as a true freshman point guard at st. mary's, and 6'7" ben dowdell started against us at santa clara. these are just the players i know about; the australian pipeline seems loaded with talent. does anybody know if vanderjagt has been able to give us a real link to some of this talent?

Very good post City, we can only hope we can get into what they have going down under. Vanderjagt is still young, and I hope they stick with him and him with us. Alot of playing time will open up for him in 08 being Strait graduates, and Qvale cannot go 40.

Here is a great ESPN article about this subject.

Don't know about any relation to the NFL PK Mike Vanderjagt, who is from Oakville, Ontario and went to West Virginia. Dave Vanderjagt does have an older sister that plays wbb at the University of Wyoming though:

This was posted in response to your question 'Superhornet' on 14 December 2007 on thread entitled "7' bench-rider." Don't do much follow-up on your questions, huh, 'Superhornet?'
