As the season wears on, I suspect the observer will want to cancel the Griz-cat game so he can maintain that they're a better team based on their win/our loss against NAU.

Cody Kirk is one of the most imposing and physically dominant running backs in the FCS, but we seemingly have 0 problem shutting him down year after year...

Because Cody Kirk is a straight line downhill runner. You don't have to worry about over pursuit because he won't cut back. Bauman is shifty and quick. Much harder to gameplan for.
