Sure. How's this:

Since 2010:

Big Sky Championships

Eastern Washington: 4
Montana: 1

Playoff Appearances

Eastern Washington: 4
Montana: 3

Semi-Final Appearances

Eastern Washington: 3
Montana: 1

National Championships

Eastern Washington: 1
Montana: Zero

FIFY. Yes 2011 still counts. :coffee:

Weird. Somebody should call up Emmert because I think the NCAA might be tracking something different:

"The vacated games include a 36-10 win over rival Montana State and FCS playoff wins over Central Arkansas and Northern Iowa in 2011. Montana won the Big Sky Conference title in 2011, finished 11-3 overall and advanced to the FCS semifinals before falling to Sam Houston State."

Just glanced it over, but something about allowing ineligible players to play, providing legal fees to players, etc.
Was there a team on probation in 2010 that had a playoff ban due to years of giving illegal benefits and allowing ineligible players to practice? Seems like that national champion should have never even been in the playoffs that year except there was a shortage of eligible teams and the ncaa rescinded the ban and let in the dirtiest program in the west to fill the field.

Interesting how that one played out, haha!

A bad personal foul call that knocked NDSU out FG range on another possession

Holy shit! That is worse than I remember. The personal foul is flat out confusing.

It was the part where #63 deliberately kneed our tackle in the face out of hatred and frustration.

Funny how the video left that part out, isn't it?

Yeah, you mean that video of the broadcast of the entire play start to finish including the penalty announcement? I didn't see any loch ness monsters or aliens in it, either.

Hey, be nice to the Eagle trolls. Considering how many times per game they like to rush the field after playing us, there's obviously some sort of infatuation (or obsession) at work here

You didn't even get the dates right. Sanctions were imposed in Feb of 2009. The appeal was made and awarded prior to the 2009 playoffs, not in 2010. Had nothing to do with the playoff field or any of the other babble that you posted.

Anyway, we paid our pennance and made the necessary changes. I trust Montana has probably done the same.

Bottom line, the wins referenced in 2011 don't officially count.

Yep, it's like it never happened. Kinda like EWU's entire 2013-2014 seasons once the Shaq Hill story comes out.

If you say so, guy.

Some tailgate freebies. UM got sanctioned for this.

I actually got a chuckle out of that. Solid work there.

That's what the Cats keep telling themselves too. Anything to pretend they can "unsee" what happened.

Exactly. It's pretty fucking stupid to act like a vacated win didn't happen.

If you don't want them to rush the field, there's a simple solution to that: Win the game.

Oh no, I want them to rush the field. I find it flattering.

The year EWU won the chipper. I remember 2 horrible horrible calls that went Easter Washington's way. The goal line call NDSU .and 4 th down vs Delaware.they never should have got to Frisco. EWU.National champs *

Was the goal line one the one where the NDSU player was laying on the ground and discarded the ball because the play was over, but it was ruled a fumble?

Completely agree. Obviously, a loss sucks, but seeing EWU fans rush the field definitely confirms the pecking order.
