What a difference a good coach makes! Hauck has the excitement back and as a result there are butts in seats again to the tune of a sellout crowd! Best student turnout in years! QB membership up in the 360 range, double what it was under stitt. I’m hoping this team can act as a catalyst to get our university as a whole moving in the right direction. I think it has the potential to!

Props to the student section. Last night reminded me what was like in my student days. Hope they keep it up al season!

Yeah. They were into it the whole game. Confession, I think the wave is dumb, but I got into it seeing the student section work so hard to get it going, then losing their damn minds when they got it going. I think it went around the stadium 5 or 6 times.

I admit, the old man in me was internally screaming that the Griz were in OFFENSE, but then I realized, Screw it. The students are here, engaged in the game and having fun and football is supposed to be fun. Go Griz!

The old man in me said it out loud numerous times. Then my wife made fun of me about kids getting off my lawn.

Well they started it during the timeout and it had picked up so much steam that it carried into our possession. That’s ok, I don’t think the wave is all that distracting.

The students were awesome. Not only did they start the wave, but they started the Montana Grizzlies chant and got the entire stadium to turn on their phone flashlights. I even heard them starting multiple other chants. They were very impressive last night.

I can speak for myself that it took almost 40 minutes to get inside last night, ridiculous (used to be 15-20 at the most). Not sure what the hell was going on at the check places, but damn they gotta get it figured out. I would guess that was the biggest reason why.

Honestly a big bottle neck was from having the beer garden. It takes up quite a bit of open space at the south entrance and forces folks to queue up instead of just walking toward an open security line.
 
Was great having a jammed student section that was jacked up and into the game! Loved the cheers and wave they started. Keep it up!
