If they’re the 5th best team then it’s a sad state of affairs in FCS. I watched their game on SWX replay. Not good. NAU looked bad, MSU looked sloppy. I will give MSU this, their Oline and running backs look good.

UNI also continues to wave naked pics of himself in front of Haley. Montana out-gained Weebs in the second half of a game they were behind by 30 @ the half in. So F$&king what?

I have a few Cat friends. They feel they are a bit overrated so those guys are being a little realistic. It will all work out in the end.

Same with Furman in the top 10, how the hell are they at 6. I’ve been able to watch a couple of their games along with a couple SoCon games and I haven’t been impressed. The SoCon overall isn’t looking strong in my opinion, with no team worthy of a top 10 ranking.

Maybe, but maybe not. Somebody at HERO (Haley I think) made the case FCS is, in fact, down this year based on poor performances against G5. Weber's loss to Nevada certainly counts in that assessment. In the eye test, NDSU looks like they took a step back but still could be the best team in the nation at this point. Many team ranked in the top 10, other than perhaps Villanova and JMU, have shown some weaknesses. The Cats and you guys are doing what needs to be done to continue to climb while other teams all around us are shitting the bed.

Yea it was more of a convo where they said they are a “little” overrated. Still a top 10 or close to it kind of team but they felt these 5 and 7 spots aren’t completely representative of how they’ve played on the field....yet. It will all work out in the end.

Just a classic case of teams above you in the rankings losing. I certainly don't feel the Cats are the 5th best team in the country right now, but at the same time we've been winning and teams in front of us have been losing. Last week #7, but UNI and UCD in front of us lose. I am surprised Nova didn't jump us though.
