I'd love to know how you came to this sterling and unbiased conclusion.
Former Bobcat players. I have heard this from three of them, I know it's a small sample.

I have heard the same thing about Ash, from recent former players. He's also lacks being able to inspire anyone. Personally, I don't have a problem with this, nor do I have any problem with Ash. Head coaches operate in different ways. They select their assistants. They determine the direction of the ship. Sometimes players like them, sometimes player don't like them, and sometimes it's in the middle. However, the praising of Ash, by Cats and some Griz, for things that I have been told he isn't, makes me chuckle.
I want to know where you guys hang out where former players are always coming by. Sounds like a good time.

I heard that the bar in West yellowstone is a good place for information on the Cats

I agree. It is also difficult not to notice the progression the program has taken since he has been at MSU. I still hope they get beat by fifty everytime they touch the field, but Ash seems quality to me.

I really enjoy PR's posts.

"You're a moron." "You're a liar." "That is obviously false." "I read a post on an internet blog that disagreed with you...learn the facts!" "You're a loser and you lie."

I mean, even if I was trying I couldn't troll the way PR does. In a semi-related question...is it considered trolling if you actually believe what you say, ala PR?

/I'm not saying I disagree with PR all the time, but he is an annoying blowhard.

Rowdy bars where fights are likely to break out. Same place you find Griz players.

PR,

Per your "source,"

Two University of Montana football players pleaded no contest Tuesday to disorderly conduct charges stemming from a loud party in October.

Quarterback Gerald Kemp and cornerback Trumaine Johnson were both tased as police attempted to break up the party at Johnson's off-campus apartment.

The two student athletes, both 21, originally were charged with assault, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer, all misdemeanors. Those charges were dropped Tuesday as part of a plea agreement.

Per my last post, yes you are technically correct they were "dropped" but that is no different then saying the charges were reduced to disorderly conduct. Once again, pull your head out.

Rob Ash is the actual weak figure head and his players don't respect him as anything more than a "good guy".

You such a blowhard. So, because a couple of players stated an OPINION about Ash, that makes their opinion a fact about "the way Ash is"? Could your credibility sink any lower? I think so.

This is the most odd pissing match.........ever.

Can we please put the Trumaine and his "curb stomping" to rest?? I am pretty sure if he "curb stomped" (please watch "American History X")the guy, he would probably have a convicted manslaughter charge, and he would be residing at MSP.........Lets just say........He kicked him in the face? :thumb:

Nope. Look at this thread. The person who the Kaimin quoted on the prior Johnson/Swink incident apparently has said that Johnson threw one punch, and didn't kick anyone.

To be fair, PR, I really don't see that much of a difference. I've seen a helluva lot of damage done, more than I care to think about, with one punch. One punch is enough. I'm not a lawyer, I'll leave that to you...but assault is assault. One punch, unless in self defense, technically constitutes a crime, does it not?

Don't you understand that Play-a R-ape is all about "reduced charges"? Sort of like being "a little bit pregnant". In his feeble mind, getting a charge reduced means that the incident never really happened, and we can all just forget about it and move on.

Just wanted to notify the board that Play-a R-ape has obviously been whining to the mods about being called that term, because the mods have dis-allowed posting that term (it automatically changes to Player Rep when posted). Oh well, thank God for hyphens!

that sould work the other way, when someone writes Playerrep it should be automatically changed to Player-Rape

Nope, these are the correct charges: "Quarterback Gerald Kemp and cornerback Trumaine Johnson, both 21, are charged with obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest." There was no assault charge.

2 charges were dropped and the 3rd charge (disorderly conduct) was kept. The charges were not reduced to another charge' they were dropped. Note that the article you just cited says "dropped". It doesn't say they were "reduced". The article you cited is incorrect on the charges. There was no assault charge. It was disorderly conduct.

Yes, all directed at one Cat poster, who continues to lie about the facts, and is generally wrong in most of what he posts. A number of Cat posters, like yourself, don't care for me. I'm glad. I'm like Bobby Hauck. He used to say that he wasn't doing his job if Cats were complaining about him and being mad at him.

Nope, no complaining to the mods by me. I assume they don't like racist comments which violate their policy.

After the MSU crack murdering athletes a couple years ago with a side of testicles down the throat MSU still has issues. They are not perfect or even near it due to supposed superior discipline.

all of those guys had already been kicked off the teams at msu, so i don't think you can hang that on them. we've had much more trouble over the past five years than msu and i firmly believe that it is due to the soft punishments given out by our administrators.

MSU brought the murderers to Bozeman as athletes and they share some of that culpability. .

Hey Tokyo and Everett, what's worse recruiting punk kids who get kicked off the team then committ a murder......Or recruiting a punk kid who committs a murder while on the team, gets sent to jail then get's to finish out his career at your beloved university?

No Griz commtted murder while on the team. You'll recall that to be convicted of murder one has to be found guilty by a jury. No such event happened.
