Well, at least the BSC coaches got this one right.

Congratulations to Mandy, one of the best players to ever don a Griz jersey.

And congratulations to Sonya and Brit as well!

Brit should have repeated as Defensive Player of the Year. This is a robbery, she had to have led the Big Sky in charges taken and shut down every girl she guarded. Kahle, from PSU, won defensive player and was averaging 16 coming into last Saturday's game against the LG's and Brit held her to 6! I didn't feel that Kahle was that good of a defender but I think that coaches felt that they had to award her with a major award since she did have a great season.
I don't think we'll see a defensive presence like Britney, one that uses her brains and body, like that for a while.
Oh well, congratulations to Mandy, Sonya, Brit, Ena, and everyone else for a great regular season!

Sarah Ena, should have been on the second team, she seemed to have a ton of double doubles. I really would have thought to see her on the second team and Brit on the honorable mention while also winning the Defensive MVP. However I think both were deserving very much so. One of the cases with not enough spots to give credit where credit is due.
