Arrowhead vs WaGriz

Just got back from the Bears @ Chiefs game.
First off, wow...excellent venue. Was told from fans of both teams this is the best stadium to watch an NFL game in and it didn't disappoint. The pregame was epic & their sound system is bar none. (Sounds like subs are right under your seat).

A quick comparison of the two venues.

Pregame: Arrowhead wins... Pyrotechnics, fireworks and sound system outmatch WaGriz

Tailgating: WaGriz hands down. KC tail gating is on a bigger scale but it's just a big parking lot party. I'll take the atmosphere of WaGriz tailgating any day.



Noise: This is what really got me... Maybe it was just because it wasn't a sexy matchup but yeah... WaGriz is as loud as Arrowhead. Don't get me wrong...Arrowhead is loud, very loud but WaGriz's 25,000 is just as loud as Arrowheads 80,000 PERIOD.

Overall Atmosphere: Arrowhead... WaGriz is amazing but Arrowhead was on another scale...

It was a good game that came down to a late field goal. MM80 started and played a good bit. He even had a chance for the winning TD and it took a 10 min review to confirm he didn't quite get in.

Overall I had a blast and it's a day I'll always remember but it also made me realize
we really have an amazing atmosphere for an FCS football team.

I live near KC and have been to quite a few games. It is truly an amazing experience. It's the loudest in the nfl. If they get going it's ridiculous. Recommend it for any football fan. I'm partial to college football though, so I'd rather go to a loud home Griz game.
 
WGS ticket holders getting hosed, at LEAST this year, for dollar spent vs product produced. Price goes up, quality goes down. My NFL gameday experience was Kingdome, not recent. My guess would be the seats in this price range would be on the fringe of the parking lot.
 
Was just at Notre Dame. They can get very loud but were not into it on 3rd and 4th down like Wa/Griz is. Great atmosphere though
