Around the FCS (Nov 1)

holy crapper, EW 54, UND 3 ?????????????? :yikes:

Ouch! 4 turnovers for UND and just 39 passing yards with a QB that I would assume is their 2nd or 3rd string guy.

So were you expecting another outcome ??????????????

This one was very predictable. EWU had to be ticked off after blowing a certain win in Flagstaff. Then North Dakota was down to a 3rd string QB when they had no offense to start with. Also the No Dakota defense is geared to stop the run, not an air attack. This one went about like you should expect, especially if Brint's right and they had four turnovers.

True Freshman, first game snaps.
ok, but what happened to that stifling defense, qb's don't mean anything there....?
and, I presume, EW was still with their backup QB ?

At the losers bowl, NoCol (2-6) leads UC-Davis (1-6), 14-0.

For those of you who picked UNI over Illinois ... you got it right, 42-28.

So ... not a lot of upsets, but two of them in the top-10 (#4 Villanova and #7 Illinois State). The 'Nova loss won't help the Griz that much, but UM might move up one spot based on the I-State loss.

UNI beat #7 undefeated Illinois State 42-28.

If UNI runs the table and get into the playoffs, they have the talent to make a huge run.

Gosh, if I only had a dollar each time I've heard that I could buy my own Caribbean island.

Poly looked impressive on their first drive. A continuation of last weeks game....right down the field. Poly 7, Cats 0

So PSUs QB should not be allowed to throw the ball down field. Every time PSU is driving and gaining momentum he throws a pick. You can set your watch by it. ISUs QB reminds me of a slower Shay. ISUs #7 is a beast at WR.

PSU backup QB is no better. On 3rd down he sacks himself for a 15 yard loss.

We may be watching the swan song for Portland State Football.
