*mods - there is nothing FCS related here, so understandable if you have to move*

ARMY v NAVY game is this weekend. This year they will play in Maryland (WA Commanders Stadium).

Uniform selection for this game takes a full year and involves deep study of history. It's a very neat process. Navy will feature Jolly Roger's tribute and ARMY will feature 101st Bastogne logo. Both schools did a great job this year.

Hope you all can find time to watch these men compete. As you know selection to our Service Academies is very difficult - these athletes are all exceptional students. No NIL at the Academies - none.

These men may be asked to lead our sons and daughters in complex, mulit-domain combat operations in the future.

I love them all.

BEAT NAVY!

I'm loving the Bastogne themed uniforms Army is fielding this year, in fact Navy has some awesome ones as well. My pops (Annapolis Grad) is coming down to visit so looking forward to catching the game together. GO ARMY SINK NAVY!

I would never let my kid be led into some worthless combat mission.

I went to Army Air Force at West Point and have been to game at Colorado Springs. Both incredible venues. And stay until end when both teams join together to sing each others fight songs.

Military was a great choice for me. Especially at 18. Helped me grow up and paid for college. 40 years later I’m grateful. Not for everyone.. hence the volunteer part.
Stopped me from going down a really bad path, 11 years total for me got too broken overseas to make it to my 20 unfortunately.

Army lost an opponent in the Independence Bowl. Marshall opted out after its HC took the job at Southern Mississippi. Then, this Portal saw 25 members of the Thundering Turd enter the portal. Pathetic.

IMHO, just the officer corps of each branch of service mostly watch this event. It's a big event for them and the nation. The enlisted of each branch don't care. A college game. Bragging rights for officers/alumni of either branch and/academy.

To complete this picture, be aware that the Marshall coach was hired away by Southern Mississippi. Not sure how this is a plus for the coach (SouMiss is not Power-4/5), but we don't know the details of his deal.
