cutting in half the time frame for expanding new end zone seating. And unlike the cowtown of my undergrad days Bozeman today is the fastest growing city in the state.
Looking at the demographics of the metro area with its high per cent of aggressive entrepreneurs, big ag folks and high salaried workforce one might reasonably conclude that increasing dollars will be headed to supporting athletics - namely football. They have a state-of-the-art airport (the busiest in MT) that further facilitates recruiting efforts. Contrary to one poster's comment Montana is more than capable of supporting two premier programs. Fan support is cranking for Cat supporters who will soon be seeing major upgrades to Bobcat Stadium including replacing and expanding NE sideline seating. Their AD is also talking of plans for construction of an indoor practice facility
Unfortunately virtually every check mark attributed to MSU is currently lacking in Missoula. Hopefully, given time, Bodnar will right the ship but this is going to be a long slog in playing catch up with a sister institution that is already arguably in the lead. Wish it weren't so - but the evidence is hard to refute.
Hard-bitten Cat haters are going to find increasingly little solace in butting heads with reality.
