Have the cats even beat a ranked team? Have the cats beat anyone with a winning record? Curious.

Yes, Sac St who are beating the Bengals tonight 51- 16 in the 4th qtr.

The same sac St that lost to Idaho? The same Sac St that beat the mighty UNC Bears by A touchdown?

But, I'll give you that. MSU got 1 decent win on the year.

I predict if Cats meet them in playoffs, they will win handily.

I predict scats will lose to nau, ewu and of course to us. probably come out flat and a few dropped passes but otherwise man they would have pulled it off.

I just don’t get posts like this. If you’re not going to be serious about claims like this why post?

Well, you play them at home next week. Let’s see how they do.

As you said when we played Davis. And when we played Idaho. And when you played Idaho.

Let’s be honest with ourselves: bub fans have been wildly overestimating msu and woefully underestimating the GRIZ who objectively look like the best team in the bsc.

This Cats team are a top 10 team, and I’d say their correct placement will reflect tomorrow around 5 or 6. Not to much this year has impressed me with the Cats aside from their offensive line. We have a decent amount of above average players, however, being as one dimensional as we are they lack the crutch they had for years, Troy Andersen. Until they decide to become more balanced where our butts don’t pucker every pass, and don’t get me started on that phony fraud Garza, we will never be ‘a step above’. Only way we make a deep playoff run is we are placed in a bracket similar to 2021.

After two losses they shouldn’t be top 5. Don’t care who they lost to. They have beat one team with a winning record this year.

Shouldn’t, yes, but will be I’m sure they will. The more I think about it, you are right though. Like I said, I’m am not impressed with this team and a lot starts with coaching. But hey, if you want, come see our 6’9” kicker, $5 admission, just stand 50 ft right of the up rights and you’ll get a souvenir.

Cat o-line didn’t do anything in first half against Idaho. They are good mainly because of the Cat system. In my view.

I agree. SDSU was obviously very good. Idaho is only quite good. 2 FCS, Idaho and weaker schedule, except for the losses, doesn’t merit top 5.

I enjoyed someone’s comment that Cat fans have been knocked off their high horse.

They will be tough Saturday night.

They came out flat today. Every team has a week like that. Despite how horrible they played in the first half, they would have won that game with Dowler not dropping a pass right in his hands and a couple of missed field goals. Idaho had their best game of the year and hardly squeaked by. If the Cats meet them in the playoffs they will win. Cats will win out remaining games.

Idaho had their best game against the Griz. Idaho completely dominated the Cats in the first half. The Cats weren't flat; Idaho kicked their ass in the first half.

And, by the way, the Griz are flat in every bad quarter they play and every bad play they make. The true Griz team is the one making the good plays.

I'll have some of what he's smoking :yikes:

💯 that games gonna be a dog fight. We’re at home and playing wel though. Also, it’s a grudge match from last year and hauck is an exceptional motivator

Fair assessment. After slicing through most defenses, cats found out their running game isn’t going to always carry the day. Tommy Merlot’s four (?) consecutive pass completions was the most effective passing I’ve seen out of msu. Though that was followed by what was it three (?) consecutive incompletions.

As a Griz fan I don’t want this to get out. So don’t tell anyone but the lack of a consistent passing game has been the cat’s Achilles Heel since at least when Choate was first hired.

You mean like Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. In the west coast system? Man you say some dumb stuff.

Where’s that bubtroll who kept using weird words like “chasm” or “divide” to describe the alleged gap between SDSU/MSdUi+ and the rest of the FSC?

He would say dumb shit like, “you guys simply do not understand the vast aperture between our tier and the rest of the FSC.”

BTW, this morning my neighbor offered me his Frisco tix, and hotel! He said he just pulled the trigger on the hotel booking last week although he’s had the tix since the summer which I find funny on several levels. I passed. Not sure hotel bookings are transferable.
