AQI

Air Quality Index (micrograms of smoke pollutant per cubic meter of air space).

Do you think this could be an issue Saturday?

Nope - pretty sure this was mentioned in another thread somewhere (or maybe a missoulian article), but the AQI would have to be at 300+ for them to even remotely consider canceling the game. The AQI right now I'd guess is around 100 to 150.

worst trolling ever! Is today your day off? Bored? :P

I am at work today, thanks for asking. And no, I am not bored nor am I trolling. I am concerned.

This is Missoula, and the weather must be discussed and obsessed over ad nauseam!

hey, you make fun of nd fat's, so ill blame you for the all the smoke & haze & filth

Because of the fires, people are getting evacuated from their homes, houses are burning, fire fighters are dead, and you are dick. that about sums it up.

Washington state is looking into rescheduling or moving the game from Pullman against Portland State. Eastern has had to cancel and/or move several practices indoors. AQI has been above 200 over here (better today) so a little different if you guys are below 150.

My office is right across from the Missoula Airport and it is getting worse by the hour. If North Dakota would just suck more than it does now, it would get this out of here! Slackers.

Just saw an alert from the National Weather Service expecting a lot of extra smoke midday tomorrow.......something to do with the phenomenon that experts are calling "Stitt's O" touching down on the synthetic surface of WaGriz. Must be a big deal, I also heard the military (with heavy firepower) will be there in response to this phenomenon....
