Exactly. I got a cease and desist letter from the U with the poster I made...they said if I printed them they'd sue. Anything copyrighted or trademarked by the university could get you in trouble.

My roommate in college made shirts with a UND logo that said UND drinking team, and the school came and talked to him personally plus handed a letter. Shut down immediately.

Really not sure on that part. I asked the same thing. Their next step was email which they obtained from here pretty easily.

I want one really bad but I also got a 2004 Natinal Champions t shirt that sears put in sale early. Its never been worn. Will they be available after we have fulfilled the redemption tour? I really do want one. Will t shirts come in white w/ maroon trim?

My brother, a professional artist, has had many similar ideas, taken them to UM licensing, etc. only to be denied for whatever reason. A few times he's gotten things approved.

If you're using the logo unapproved (no matter the reason), don't think for a second they won't come after you.

Just sayin..

Working w U licensing to get done first thing next week. He spoke with AD & Licensing direct yesterday morning. It's very real. I am amazed as well...send sizes quantities and type via PM until further notice but these may be in the bookstore soon too.
