App did a great job fighting to stay in the game with Illinois State. ISU has a very solid team and IMHO they have a good chance at a deep run in the playoffs. They remind me a lot of the JMU squad that won the national title in 2004, playing every game on the road.

2. Went to App State vs Griz game. Adults were thanking us for coming as we spent a pretty penny. As we were carrying three bag$ of good$ from local store$ back to our motel room$, we passed by a fake frat house and all we got was fingers and go home and FTG etc. So they do it there too!!! But for the most part, the adults thanked us for coming and spending some time and money. Also, at the game, the endzone student section kept saying we were No.1 too...they use their middle finger to indicate that up there...unusual to say the least. A couple got brave and came and stood and jumped up and down in front of us...some larger dudes and some App people including the cops took care of that quickly. There are some bad eggs everywhere and I'm sure some Griz Students will give some crap to some App fans, if you see it take care of it -its is Un-Griz Nation like! And reflects on us all and you too!
