Any of you been to any practices? I’m fully aware of not publishing anything specific but generally speaking, I’m wondering what generalized thoughts are on new players, young existing players, new coaches, and operations in a spring practice environment look like to those that may taken the opportunity to attend.

Spring’s been really good so far. I've noticed the guys are coming out with great energy, and you can really feel the buy-in from the locker room. Our new staff has done a tremendous job setting the tone and establishing the standard of how we want to operate day in and day out. The players are really getting after it...flying around, competing, and just embracing the process.

At this time of year, it’s really about stacking good days, focusing on the little things, and continuing to build that culture. We’re not where we want to be yet, but we’re taking steps in the right direction. The effort’s been outstanding, the attitude’s been great, and the guys are doing a nice job of responding to the coaching.

Right now it’s just about continuing to build fundamentals, developing depth, and making sure we’re maximizing every rep. If we keep bringing that energy and attention to detail, we’ll give ourselves a chance to be the best version of ourselves when fall rolls around.

Lots of energy at practices and the offense is going to be clicking on all cylinders. Defense is still working on installing but they are picking up the installations quickly and are hungry and getting after the ball.

Have you been to any practices?

Very solid post. I was reading this and getting excited for about 3 sentences, then realized the vagueness…then looked at the poster. Good work…good work…
