Mr.T. If, one of these years, you happen to qualify for the US Open would you consider letting argh! work your bag?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe there has been a public open invitation for that for the past half-dozen years.

If push came to shove and Mr T could have only one e-griz poster work his bag at the US Open, I wonder who he'd choose?

I worked his bag at the GSA golf tourney in Butte a couple weeks ago and he seemed to enjoy it

That's a great question, Snap, and I'm sure it's one that gets asked quite often. It's times like this that I wish we had a forum on egriz where we could ask such questions and get them answered.

I hope this finds you well!

Wait, what exactly does it mean to "work a guy's bag?" Jesus, another question that would be awesome to have answered in a thread on this forum!

AWF, that is a great question . . .

OK, how much would you have to be paid to work a guy's bag? Would you work a guys bag for $100k? Should I start a pole about it?

Good tip. A sliding scale on a pole is probably key to working a guy's bag effectively. Or vice versa.

Let's talk numbers:

-Ursa
-Titleist
-EG
-Growler

Go.

Ursa. I'd pay him. He's such a whore.
Titleist. Ten grand.
EG. Five grand.
Growler. Infinity grand.

Written like a true gentleman's bag worker. Lucky for you, I've heard that Growler has infinity grand laying around. I'm told he's accomplished more before 35 as a regional sales rep than I will accomplish in my entire career as a lowly turd farmer (largely due to the fact that I am not a regional sales rep, but a lowly turd farmer). I haven't wealth nor fame.

Titleist tells me that when anyone works his bag, he shaves a few strokes off his finish. He quoted Physics. Not any particular theory thereof, just "Physics."

That's a great question, and one I'm asked often. As noted above, Hammer worked my bag at the GSA tournament a few weeks ago. He was a great caddy. Provided laughs, drove me around like a true chauffeur, fed me plenty of alcoholic beverages, and overall my game was iffy. He's not so good at the telling me how far away I am, but a great "you got this, sport!" kind of guy.

AlphaGriz1 worked my bag last weekend at Fairmont Hot Springs. He took it a bit too literally, as always, but after watching Mr (and the original) AG1 drain a couple of 60 foot putts I'd be happy to have him carry my bag anytime.

Ursa would make a fine caddy, though, he needs to be socialized just a bit. Not quite fit for human consumption.

argh! couldn't carry my bag. Skinny jeans and golf just don't mix.

Also, physics(!!!!!).

Totally agree about Ursa. Can't take that dude out in public; especially as a bag worker. I'm told he doesn't even have a home. Some sob story about a fire . . .

Shit, don't be telling me about working a man's bag, I'm the bag master! I've got my technique down and everything, I don't be tickling or nothing.
